Dylan joins CheckPoint Pumps & Systems as our new Production Technician at Mandeville Headquarters. He hails from Norco, a small town about 15 miles away from Metairie. Dylan graduated from high school in 2009, and studied electrical engineering first at Delgado, then instrumentation at a technical college. Previous work experience includes a supervisory role at Best Buy and working offshore as an instrument tech.
Champion Technologies Announces Training Collaboration with CheckPoint Pumps & Systems
Likely partnership in chemical injection training forms for the oil and gas industry

The Deepwater EDGEucationsm training, one of several developmental programs at Champion Technologies, is an 18-month curriculum designed to educate participants on the technical demands and customer service requirements of the production chemical business. Over the past two years, CheckPoint Pumps & Systems has contributed to the technical knowledge of more than 20 Champion employees who are deployed in five countries.

CheckPoint Pumps & Systems has been selected as a finalist for two Pump Industry Awards: Manufacturer of the Year and Environmental Contribution of the Year. All professionals working in the industrial marketplace are eligible to cast their vote for these categories and others on PIA’s website until February 24th, 2012.
Per the PIA website, “Entries in all categories were judged on their on their relative merits, and through discussion, deliberation and a simple scoring system, the top entries within each category have become the finalists for the awards evening”, which will take place on March 22nd at the St Johns Hotel in Solihull, UK.
CheckPoint Pumps & Systems understands there is no one-size-fits-all chemical injection system. So when Chesapeake Midstream sought out a solar solution for their application, CheckPoint’s Engineered Solutions team made sure a system was designed to meet their operational specifications.
There are a few more details to be added to this system before it is ready for shipment, but the major highlights include two CheckPoint FXA Series electric pumps and nine solar panels. As part of the company’s Year End Sales Week, CheckPoint sales managers from all regional and international locations came to headquarters, and stopped by this attention-grabber before making their way into a meeting.
Carl located from Michigan to Louisiana almost a year ago. His wife of 34 years has family roots here. Carl has three grown children, with two in college at Nicholls State, and four additional children adopted at Christmas time in 1999. He enjoys Bible study time, and reading, and enjoys teaching his grandchildren how to fish. Carl enjoys playing basketball with his college son, who’s been on a couple of all-state teams in Michigan. He says he’s, “blessed to be here and enjoys all that Louisiana has to offer!”
Eric Gibson joins CheckPoint Pumps and Systems as an Outside Sales Representative in Texas. Eric resides in San Antonio Texas with his wife and two children. He has a background in Communications Organizational Management from Lubbock Christian University. Spending as much time with his family is his passion but he fits in hunting and fishing when opportunity presents itself. Some of Eric’s prior experiences include Major Account rep for Toshiba and five states Territory Manager for Clear Lake lumber mill in Pennsylvania.
